Description
These three pieces for Clarinet Choir are arranged by Genessa West. As both a performer and teacher of the clarinet herself, she has skilfully crafted each part for interest and play-ability. Scarborough Fair is a well known folk melody, popularised by Simon and Garfunkel. Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s opera Turandot, a rousing and moving melody, has been performed to acclaim by Pavarotti. Non Piu Andrai Farfallone from Mozart’s opera Marriage of Figaro, is less well known. It is lighthearted and catchy, and tells of the page Cherubino who is to be sent away to be a soldier. The military sounding section clearly illustrates this.
